On 28 November 2018 His Excellency Igor Alexandrovič Leščeňa, the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus in the Slovak Republic, and Mr Denis Sidorov, the Advisor of the Ambassador, honoured TUKE by their visit.

The special guests were welcomed at the university grounds by prof. Stanislav Kmeť, the Rector of TUKE, and by prof. Vladimír Modrák, the Vice-rector for Foreign Relations. The meeting was held in the spirit of presenting the role, actions and results of TUKE in the field of science, education and innovation. In the debate, both sides declared their interest in developing cooperation in the field of university partnerships and support in cooperation on an industrial basis.

At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador finished his visit by signing the TUKE Visitors Book with the words: “It was a great pleasure for me to visit one of the best Slovak universities.”
