22nd IEEE SAMI 2024 Scientific Event

The IEEE 22nd World Symposium on Applied Machine Intelligence and Informatics (SAMI 2024) took place on 25 – 27 January 2024 as one of the long-term cooperation platforms between the Technical University of Košice and Óbuda University in Budapest.
The conference lasted three days with 88 accepted papers and 112 participants from twenty countries. At the opening ceremony, the management of TUKE was represented by prof. Ing. Ján Piteľ, PhD. the Vice-Rector for International Relations and Mobility. The evening reception was participated by prof. Ing. Peter Mésároš, PhD. the Rector of TUKE, who appreciated the benefits of mutual cooperation in his speech. On the second day of the conference, the banquet was also attended by Prof. Liberios Vokorokos, Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics of TUKE, who, together with Prof. Imre Rudas from Óbuda University, delivered the Baltazar Frankovič Award to two doctoral students: Máté Érsok from Óbuda University and Dávid Vaľko from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics of TUKE.
