On August 17, 2023, the new Management of the Technical University of Košice met for the first time under the chairmanship of the Rector Prof. Ing. Peter Mésároš, PhD. After the opening speech, the Rector handed over the credentials to new Vice­‑Rectors, who have become:

• prof. Ing. Juraj Gazda, PhD. – Vice­‑Rector for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FEI),

• prof. Ing. Ivo Petráš, DrSc. – Vice­‑Rector for Science, Research, and Doctoral Studies (FBERG),

• Dr.h.c. prof. Ing. Miroslav Kelemen, DrSc. – Vice­‑Rector for Education (LF),

• prof. Ing. Ján Piteľ, PhD. – Vice­‑Rector for International Relations and Mobilities (FVT),

• Ing. Rastislav Ručinský, PhD. – Vice­‑Rector for Development and External Relations (SvF).

The former Rector Dr.h.c. Prof. h.c. Prof. Ing. Stanislav Kmeť, DrSc., also accepted an invitation to the meeting and wished the current TUKE Management a lot of energy and achievements in managing the University.

The TUKE Management, along with the Bursar Assoc. Prof. Ing. Marcel Behúň, PhD., and the Chairman of the TUKE Academic Senate Prof. Ing. Roman Cimbala, PhD., subsequently continued discussions and process settings.
