The Management of the Technical University of Košice, under the lead of the Rector Prof. Ing. Peter Mésároš, PhD., participated in a work visit in the Kingdom of Bahrain as part of the delegation of the Authority of Spatial Planning and Construction of the Slovak Republic. The work meetings including several significant discussions were held in Bahrain on 15 – 16 January 2024.

One of the notable meetings took place with the Deputy Prime Minister of Bahrain, Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, presenting the PoC Digital Twin project.

The delegation also visited the largest university in Bahrain, the University of Bahrain, where discussions were held on possible academic and research partnerships.
